STEPHEN E. COOK
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Cook is an experienced healthcare and laboratory professional with more than twenty-five years of experience building-out and leading high-performing finance and accounting teams. Prior to joining QDx Pathology, in August 2021, Steve served as Chief Financial Officer of SEPA Labs. There, he contributed to the organic growth of the business by increasing revenues through internalization of Revenue Cycle Management and capturing professional component charges on clinical diagnostic testing and greatly enhancing claims management. He successfully led its principals in the sale of the business to Pathgroup, Inc. in 2019. Mr. Cook earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rutgers University and is a certified public accountant.

Meet Farhan Sajid, our esteemed Vice President of Technology, pioneering QDx’s technological landscape since its inception. With a keen eye for innovation and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Farhan spearheads our technological initiatives, crafting a strategic vision that propels us towards the forefront of our industry.
Bringing a wealth of experience from his tenure at Cognizant Healthcare and other renowned organizations, Farhan is a seasoned expert in software architect, equipped with a deep understanding of cybersecurity imperatives. His invaluable insights empower our leadership team with tailored consultation, ensuring that our technological endeavors seamlessly align with both industry standards and regulatory requirements.
At the heart of Farhan’s role lies a dedication to nurturing talent within our IT cadre. Leveraging his expertise, he mentors our team, guiding them through every stage of the software lifecycle — from design and development to testing and deployment. Moreover, Farhan’s penchant for exploring emerging technologies and conducting insightful case studies enables us to anticipate future trends, positioning QDx as a trailblazer in the realm of patient-centric healthcare solutions.
Farhan’s academic journey is equally illustrious, boasting a Master of Science in Computer Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Engineering.

SYED NAQVI
VP OF TECHNICAL SUPPORT OF LABORATORY
Dr. Naqvi received his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He received his post-graduate M.Phil degree focused on Surgical and Clinical Pathology from Basic Medical Sciences Institute, JPMC, Karachi, Pakistan. He has over 26 years’ experience of establishing and managing several clinical, molecular, toxicology and surgical pathology laboratories with focus on developing and successfully implementing the ideology of total quality management systems, based on CLIA, CAP, NJDOH and NYSDOH standards.

REEMA JAFFAR, MD
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Jaffar is Medical Director and the Director of Gastroenterology Pathology with QDx. Dr. Jaffar received her medical degree from Jawaharial Nehru Medical College Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. She received her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency training at Umass Memorial Medical Center in Worchester, MA. Dr. Jaffar received her fellowship training in Pediatric and Perinatal Pathology at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. She received her Gastrointestinal and Surgical Pathology Fellowship training at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago IL. Dr. Jaffar is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.
